About the artist…

Debbie Murray is an artist living and working in Dubbo, NSW, Australia.

She has only recently taken up drawing again after spending more than 20 years as a local wedding photographer in the region. COVID-19 has been her impetus to start drawing again.

Debbie has spent time as a teacher of Visual Arts and technology, but is currently working as a School Principal in Dubbo. She enjoys pen & ink drawing particularly for its qualities to capture so much detail, and utilises her own and others’ photography as a reference to support the required features in each image. Her location near Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW has been her inspiration for her first series of African animals.

Most of Debbie’s previous work has been commissioned for specific spaces, but now you have the opportunity to own a high quality print of your own choice from her growing collection.

She sincerely hopes that you will enjoy displaying a brand new Murray Ink quality print in your home.
